Non destructive testing by X-Ray Diffraction
The Stress X is complaint to ASTM E916 and UNI EN 15305 procedure and it will be supplied with two shot-peened calibration samples of compressive residual stress of -400 and -800 MPa measured on five comparison instruments. We will supply also iron, copper and nickel powder samples with a value of zero residual stress.

RESIDUAL STRESS BY XRD
GNR StressX can be mounted either in a closed cabin,
suitable for laboratory analysis, or on a four-wheel trolley for
on-site analysis. The StressX can be mounted either in a closed cabin, suitable for laboratory analysis, or on a four-wheel trolley for on-site analysis.
Exchangable 0.5, 1 and 2 mm monocapillary diameter
collimators are supplied as standard. Special collimators with
different spot sizes are available as an option.
A high focusing and brilliance polycapillary collimator with a
focal spot of 120 microns can also be mounted to measure
residual stress on very small detectable areas.
